Overview:
This three-level motel is constructed using CLT (cross-laminated timber) panels with factory-predrilled service penetrations. Our team worked closely with the builder and other trades to overcome the challenges of working within these fixed tolerances. It required precise service coordination, extra planning, and flexible on-site adjustments to ensure all electrical and mechanical elements aligned perfectly with the prefabricated structure.
Scope of Work:
- Electrical main contractor for a new-build motel project
- Complete electrical fit-out across for 24 suites, including new MSB, data rack and lift services.
- General power and lighting installation
- E4M design and build for the HVAC systems
- Structured cabling for MATV, CCTV, and network infrastructure
Outcome:
Despite the constraints, we delivered a well-coordinated and efficient electrical installation. The result is a modern, energy-efficient motel with integrated building services that enhance guest comfort, safety, and connectivity.
