Whangarei Civic Centre – City Council
Overview
Acclaim team delivered a 50kW rooftop solar system for the new Whangarei Civic Centre — a project we proudly delivered together with RCR Infrastructure. It reflects the council’s commitment to lowering energy use and supporting long-term sustainability for the local community.
Scope of works
Our scope included solar system install including DC, rails and solar panels. The system uses a grid-tied inverter and a non-penetrative mounting method to eliminate possible leaks.
Outcome
The installation was completed successfully nd without disruption to other site works. The solar system is now helping offset energy costs for the Civic Centre while reducing carbon emissions — delivering real value to both council and community.
